I’m so excited to share with you that I’ve decided to host our next Bible study! This is new territory for me but I’m an eager to give it a shot. As you may remember, we typically follow along with Love God Greatly’s Bible studies. But I felt God nudging me to my own study and I’ve been fighting it. With the encouragement of my husband, I’ve decided to jump in with both feet.
We are going to be starting an 8-week study on Grace next week!
I’ve shared my struggle with how I find it hard to speak with grace. So many women reached out to me that they too struggle with this. I think we can all use a study through the Bible on how grace impacts the different areas of our lives. We are going to tackle grace for ourselves, our marriage, motherhood, our speech and so much more in the coming weeks. I can not wait to go through this study with you! Will you pray about joining us?
What do you need?
The 8-week Reading Plan
This easy to follow study will have the reading plan attached at the bottom of every email I send out. If you are a subscriber-great! You just need to click the link in your email and print. If you are a new reader or a silent reader whose not yet signed up, be sure to put your email in the subscription box below to get the emails with the download. You won’t want to miss this study!
You can’t study the Bible without one, right?
In this study, we will be using the SOAP method to soak in the passages better. We will take the time to write them out, write an observation, an application to our own life and any prayer requests or even our prayers. To read more on how to SOAP check out LGG’s post!
A fun journal makes everything fun! I love having a journal that can fit in my Bible case but others enjoy a larger spiral notebook. Find something that will make you excited about doing your Bible study every day! Amazon even has a Grace journal that is beautiful, it would pair so nicely with this study!
Gel Pens or Highlighters
I’m a big fan of marking up your Bible. You can underline verses you love, write in the margins, write references to similar verses, whatever you want. I personally love my gel pen set, nearly all of them don’t bleed (I’ve found that the metallic ones DO bleed through).
That’s it! It’s pretty simple and the best part is is that if you don’t have anything but a Bible you can still follow along! Every Monday I will be introducing the week’s study topic and I will post the weeks reading plan at the end of the post. I can’t wait to go through this study on Grace with you. Don’t forget to print off the reading plan and get ready to start next Monday. Sign up below!
Your turn! Have you done a Bible study on Grace before? Have you always wanted to do a study on it? I hope you’ll be joining us! Let us know in the comments below!
