Homeschooling is such a joy! But there are days where we need someone else to pour into our souls when we are feeling like the worst homeschooling mama out there or you can’t seem to teach the latest math problems. That is why I love blogs! We can learn from others who’ve walked this road. We don’t have to reinvent the wheel! Not only can we get soul help but we can get organizing help, curriculum help, craft ideas, and lesson ideas all with the click of a button.
Today I want to share my favorite homeschool bloggers! I encourage you to go check them out!
Kristi at Kristi Clover
I just love Kristi’s bubbly personality. You won’t leave her blog, podcast, Facebook live videos without feeling happy and upbeat. Kristi has so many great practical tips and she even has a homeschool organization course! You can read my review over here!
Jennifer at Deliberate Homeschooling
Jennifer has so many cute ideas to inspire you! I follow her on Instagram and love her play station ideas that she sets up for her girls based on what they are learning. Jen writes about all things homeschooling! She does a great job encouraging you to teach things that may feel overwhelming to you (math anyone??) Her blog is a great place to start!
Belinda at Live life with your Kids
Belinda writes on many topics, including homeschooling. Her blog is all about how parenting is about relationships with our kids, about teaching and training the heart, about using the whole of life to teach character, wisdom and life skills to our kids. I love how she ties these principles into her homeschool posts. This is definitely a blog to check out for some encouragement, you will leave feeling equipped once again to tackle another day.
Misty at Joy in the Journey
Misty is all about encouraging you to have joy! It is possible to be a joyful homeschooling mama. Misty has great tips and resources on her blog for any homeschooling family.
Gena at I Choose Joy!
Gena’s blog is loaded with resources! For moms, for kids, for teens, for each subject and on and on the list could go.
As you can see I don’t have a lot on this list. There are so many blogs out there it can be hard to choose! The key is to not get lost in the reading of blogs that you never implement anything. Try not to subscribe to them all because then you’ll simply tune them all out and miss out on some great stuff. You’ll know you’ve found a great blogger that meshes with your own style after reading a few of their posts. I do scan Pinterest for some great craft or organization tips but I don’t subscribe or frequent them often. You can follow my homeschool boards to see those – I have an overall board and then a board for each grade we’ve done so far. Good luck!
