Reply Hm October 12, 2017 at 4:44 pm Im having difficulty making ylthe bible a priority in the morning. Should i exercise then read the bible after a workout? Working out after i read the bible is affecting me. Also waking up at 10:00 am. I would rather wakeup at 4 am then exercise the shower then read l.the bible tgen start my day. But if i sleep at 10 pm then thats only 6 hoursvof sleep if i wake up by 4 am. Then i usaually have to nap for two hours before i feel refreshed. Its a constant struggle for me to fit bible reading in my schedule becausse i dod not have to read the bible before. Ive struggled for 4 months now and its affecting my life. I ned help please. Reply Anastasia Safee October 24, 2017 at 5:27 pm I would see how awake you are when you wake up, if waking up and exercising first makes your brain wake up more then I would do that first especially if you are waking up earlier than usual. If you are finding that after working out you still are skipping your Bible reading then you should read your Bible first and then work out. Waking up at 4am seems unattainable and you will just be setting yourself up for failure. Maybe try waking up 1-2 hours earlier, try 8am instead of 10am. I hope that helps! You will never regret the time you spend in the Word, even if that means waking up earlier. Reply Linda Washington December 4, 2017 at 3:02 pm Hello—Can anyone tell me what SOAP means that Anastasia speaks of?? Reply Anastasia Safee December 13, 2017 at 3:13 pm SOAP broken down: S-Scripture – writing out a Bible verse or passage O-Observation – what does the verse mean, what is the context teaching you, look up definitions you don’t know, etc. A-Application – how does the verse apply directly to YOUR life, how is it convicting you, how can you change or use the verse in your own life P-Prayer – write our your prayer from the verses or write down prayer requests and then pray! It’s that simple! I hope that helps! Leave a Reply Cancel Reply Name * Email * Website Save my name, email, and website in this browser for the next time I comment.
