Cinnamon Sugar Bread Recipe

Looking for an easy, quick sweet bread? This Cinnamon Sugar bread will be a hit for either breakfast or dessert!

I’m super excited to share with you one of my favorite breakfast breads. Cinnamon sugar bread. Doesn’t it just sound amazing? You can’t go wrong with that combination. I have a few favorites but this one makes the top of the list. It is so delicious.

f you love sweetness for breakfast then you will want to make this recipe!

Cinnamon Sugar Bread

13 cup sugar
2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
2 cups all-purpose flour
1 tablespoon baking powder
12 teaspoon salt
1 cup sugar
1 egg   beaten
1 cup milk
13 cup vegetable oil

Instructions:

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Lightly grease a 9×5 inch loaf pan.
In a large bowl combine flour, baking powder, salt and 1 cup sugar.
Add egg, milk, and oil to flour mixture. Stir until moistened.

Pour half of the batter into the pan.Sprinkle with the 2tsp cinnamon and 1/3 cup sugar mixture.

Cover with remaining batter.Top with more cinnamon/sugar if desired. I leave this step out since it makes it messier for my little ones to eat and doesn’t make the bread look as pretty. I’ve tried a few times and gave up!

The easiest way to do achieve this is to put the remainder of the batter into the center in line, then spread it out very carefully from the center to the sides in short strokes. It’s hard to describe in writing, hopefully the pictures will do a better job.

Bake in preheated oven for 45 to 50 minutes. Let the bread cool completely before slicing, it will be moister the next day if you wrap it in foil warm from the oven. It locks in the moisture! Oh so good! It is definitely worth the wait!
